Rock’n Ready distribution cancelled due to weather concerns

The Rock’n Ready school supply distribution events scheduled today at Brownstown Central Middle School and Seymour High School have been cancelled due to weather concerns.

The prefilled backpacks now will be available on the first day of school for students in those school districts, according to Jackson County United Way which conducts the annual program.

Medora students also will receive their supplies on the first day of school, and those registered in Crothersville will be contacted to set up an appointment to pick up their backpacks at the Crothersville Library.
