The Sales Representative is an account-level sales person focused on growing Reckless Ale Works business. This position requires flexible hours, daily travel (possible overnight), and frequent weekend events.

Job Qualifications:
Detail-oriented person with great people skills needed. Must have pleasant personality, be self-motivated and the ability to communicate well with people. Beer industry knowledge and 1-2 years beverage industry sales experience is a plus but not required. Minimum of two 2 years outside sales required.

The ideal candidate would live centrally located in the state and have good, working knowledge of the corresponding beer scene(s).

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Visit and maintain contact with retailers, restaurants, bars.
  • Perform regular ride alongs with wholesaler representatives.
  • Monitor wholesaler’s inventory.
  • Complete company administration requirements on time and regularly, including expense reports, weekly/month recaps, monthly calendar, and daily e-mail responses.
  • Become thoroughly acquainted with decision maker in accounts.
  • 8 samplings, pint night, beer festivals, monthly
  • Visit a minimum of 10+ accounts a day.
  • Conduct quarterly sales meetings/ presentations with our distributor’s sales staff.
  • Must maintain a functional vehicle and have a driver’s license.

Keys to Success:

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated success in beverage related sales or other outside sales.
  • General knowledge of the brewing process and trending beer styles.
  • Computer skills, word, excel and email.
