New rumours suggest more PS5 stock could be in the hands of retailers later this week.
The next-generation consoles have been in great demand since Sony launched them in November leading to widespread shortages.
Since then shoppers have been constantly refreshing the pages of retailers like Currys, Game, Very and Argos to see if they’re back in stock.
Now a Twitter account followed by many Playstation fans, PS5 UK Stock Instant Updates, is suggesting that more consoles could be available from this week.
The account said: “Logistics teams from various retailers are expecting PS5 stock to be arriving to the UK between 13th to 16th of January.
“It will need processing for distribution before release. Most stock arriving via sea freight hence the delays.”
While the stock may be in the hands of retailers between January 13 and January 16, they will need time to process the devices before selling them on.
That means, according to the Twitter account, consoles should be available to purchase between January 14 and January 21.
Retailers including Currys, Argos, Game, Amazon, Tesco and Asda have all been tight-lipped on when they think they will be able to start selling the consoles.
However, the PS5 UK Stock Instant Updates account suggests that Argos expects stock to arrive for processing on January 13, and EE and BT expect to be selling the consoles by January 17.
