Procurement Officer job with Manchester City Council

About Us

The role holder would be joining Manchester City Council’s central Procurement Team, who have one of the most diverse local authority procurement portfolios in the country, covering areas from health and social care integration, to landmark construction projects, to shaping the city’s (leading) approaches to social value and zero carbon.

Reporting to a Senior Procurement Officer, the role holder will be responsible for managing all stages of the procurement cycle, from advising internal clients and partner organisations on the initial design and procurement strategy, through to managing the tendering process, evaluation, award and contract implementation.
