In order to ensure hassle-free procurement of paddy crop, the administration has completed all the arrangements in grain markets, purchase centers and standby procurement dumps earmarked for the purpose.
Secretaries at market committees have been asked to maintain cleanliness in mandis.
Baljinder Singh Cheema, chairman, Ahmedgarh Market Committee, said they will take take proactive measures for smooth procurement of paddy crop.
Executive Engineer Gurmanpreet Singh said uninterrupted electric supply to grain markets and purchase centers has been ensured. — TNS
