Procurement Manager Finished Goods – Leading Household FMCG Brand – London & Midlands – £50-55k + package
This market leading and well-renowned FMCG brand, known for their health & beauty product ranges, is looking to bring onboard an established commodity procurement manager to lead across their finished goods spend, equating to $50M.
As an organisation that prides itself on it’s progressive environment, this individual will have the opportunity to lead a small team whilst ultimately being responsible for building strategic sourcing processes for the business globally, ideal for someone looking to get high-levels of internal exposure and progress their career within a commodity and products based environment.
Procurement Manager role outline;
- Work closely alongside the global category manager in the creation and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for the team across finished product ranges, including make-up, care and nutritional products
- Lead an associate within the team to help deliver on the company and teams’ objectives across sourcing practises
- Work closely with the Head of Direct Procurement to build strategically across suppliers, ultimately to deliver cost-savings and generate value for the business
- Take advantage of this collaborative and progressive environment to grow your career within this global organisation
Experience required;
- Minimum of 4 years direct procurement / buying experience within a global FMCG environment, cosmetics or beauty category experience is ideal however not essential
- The ability and experience of working across a diverse portfolio and able to manage strategic spend across a changing product landscape
- People leadership experience is required
- Degree / MBA / CIPS is preferred however not essential
