The Role

As the Procurement Advisor, you will have experience in the commodity of IT, telecoms, software etc. You will be reporting and supporting the Procurement Manager in delivering a first-class support service to the business, you will act as a point of contact for specific heads of departments e.g. IT, HR and Finance. IT knowledge and a desire to exploit software including but not limited to Office365 to improve the efficiency, transparency and availability of information to promote best practice / policy compliance. Previous experience with supplier assurance and services procurement is a key requirement as you will be tasked with maintaining and or developing approved supplier and contract matrices and wider rollout of the new supplier assurance portal.

About You

You’ll be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently, with exceptional communication, influencing and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, resilient, adaptable, and organised with the ability to build rapport with internal customers and suppliers. The ability to work as part of a close knit but remote team is essential as is a preparedness to work on your own initiative when required. The ability to use spreadsheets and analyse large amounts of data is a necessity.

The Requirement

  • CIPS (Advanced level or higher)
  • Indirect Procurement experience
  • Experience working with supplier assurance processes
  • Clean UK driving license
  • Willingness to travel if/when required
