President Solih forms ‘Procurement Policy Board’

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on February 23, established the ‘Procurement Policy Board’ under a presidential decree.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the seven-member board was constituted in order to strengthen the public procurement structure and bring about procurement-related policy-level changes.

Members of the Procurement Policy Board

– Chairperson: Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer

– Board Member: Minister of State for Finance Ahmed Shareef

– Board Member: Minister of State for National Planning and Infrastructure Shifaz Ali

– Board Member: Ajwad Musthafa

– Board Member: Ibrahim Naeem

– Board Member: Dr Mohamed Adil

– Board Member: Shuhad Ibrahim

The Procurement Policy Board is one out of four Statutory Boards monitored by the Ministry of Finance.
