Police uncover cannabis factory in Billesley

Police in Billesley have uncovered a cannabis factory. Officers shared an image which showed large amounts of cannabis being grown at a property on Braceby Avenue.

An accompanying post also said two arrests had been made on the street and a firearm located.

In a tweet in the early hours of Thursday morning, Billesley Police said: “And today has been busy in Billesley on Braceby Ave… 2 arrests, a cannabis factory and a firearm located. Many thanks to @BhamCityCouncil, @KingsNortonWMP, @WeoleyWMP, @ForensicsWMP, @firearmsWMP.”

Cannabis is a Class B drug, which means the penalty for supplying or producing it can be up to 14 years in prison, an unlimited fine, or both.
