Police find ‘significant’ cannabis factory at Swansea industrial estate

A “significant” cannabis factory has been discovered by police in a unit on a Swansea industrial estate.

Several South Wales Police vehicles attended Wyndam Court in Llansamlet, which is within Swansea Enterprise Park.

A number of police vehicles are at the scene

Officers attended the scene after receiving information from the public.

Investigations are continuing after the discovery.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “This morning we received intelligence about a possible cannabis factory in Wyndam Court.

“Officers have attended and a significant cannabis factory has been located. Investigations are ongoing.”

It is the latest in a long line of cannabis factory finds across Swansea Bay.

One of the most recent was what was also described as a ‘significant’ discovery in Swansea’s High Street.

Police officers came across the cannabis plants while carrying out a drugs warrant.
