Police raided a property in Coventry being used as a cannabis factory. Officers executed a warrant yesterday evening (April 9) and discovered 99 cannabis plants.
Officers say they also seized a large quantity of dried cannabis. In a tweet, Coventry City Centre Police said: “St Micheal’s officers have executed a warrant today at an address near to Coventry city centre believed to be a cannabis factory.
“99 Cannabis plants were found within the address along with a large quantity of dried cannabis seized.”

It comes after police discovered three cannabis factories in one neighbourhood last month. Officers from Henley and Longford Police executed three warrants at addresses in Longford on March 11. One man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of the Class B drug and illegal entry into the UK.
Last year, West Midlands Police raided more than 250 large cannabis factories in the region and seized drugs valued at £84 million. Police recently issued a stark warning to criminals saying, ‘If you grow it, we will find it’ as they continue the fight against organised crime groups.
