TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE

The Corporation of the Town of Penetanguishene intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by Local Authority Services (LAS) between Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2022.
LAS is an owned subsidiary of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, which uses an electricity procurement program to ensure budget ability for municipalities in the post-RPP era and to achieve cost savings on electricity purchases by leveraging savings through group purchasing.
The LAS program provides strategic advice related to purchases, effective program oversight, and ongoing accountability. Program oversight is provided by the LAS Energy Advisory Committee and LAS Board of Directors, both of which are comprised of municipal representatives.
