Parker Elders Get Golden Ticket for Virtual Tour of Chocolate Factory, for Valentine’s Day

SOMERSET, NJ – The elders at Parker at Somerset recently got a Golden Ticket to take a virtual, behind-the-scenes tour of a chocolate factory just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Through the wonders of immersive virtual reality technology, the elders were able to visit Taza Chocolate’s facilities in Somerville, Mass. – without leaving their residence in Somerset. They got to experience the entire process, from almonds being bathed in milk chocolate to dark chocolate delights getting their final wrap.

The cherry on top was a taste-testing experience for the elders, who sampled sweet, bittersweet and even spicy chocolate from far-flung locales such as Haiti, Ghana and the Dominican Republic.
