Bhopal: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered that the date of procurement of wheat in the state should be extended till May 31. At a review meeting of wheat procurement, in which senior officers of agriculture, cooperatives, mandi board and food department were present, the CM said that farmers should not face any problem during the purchase of wheat on support price. “Every grain of wheat of farmers should be purchased at support price. and with extending the date of procurement of wheat, farmers would get more opportunity to sell their wheat. Those farmers who have not been able to sell wheat, can sellnow ”, he said. TNN
