KUALA LUMPUR: Notion VTEC Bhd
‘s factory building in Jalan Meru, Klang, has been affected by flooding caused by the heavy rain over the weekend.
The group said in a bourse filing that the factory is for the production of gloves and computer numerical control machining under the automotive segment.
“The company is unable to ascertain the full financial and operational impacts at this juncture due to current inaccessibility to the factory.
“Nonetheless, all the assets are adequately covered by insurance. Sufficient insurance coverage has been taken for consequential business loss due to flood,” it said.
It added that the board of directors will make further announcements on the financial and operational impact when there are new developments.
At 10.05am, shares in Notion VTec were up one sen to 36 sen apiece on the back of 304,300 units traded.
Notion’s warrants remained untraded with a reference price of 14 sen apiece.
