New President for UPS Supply Chain Solutions Europe

UPS has named Susanne Klingler-Werner as the new President for UPS Supply Chain Solutions Europe.

In her new role, Klingler-Werner will be responsible for 22 markets across Europe where, in March 2022, UPS SCS opened a brand-new supply chain solutions facility in Roermond (the Netherlands).

“Adding 17 000 m² to its existing campus for a total of 85 000 m², the new building will also house UPS’s first Innovation Centre in Europe, establishing Roermond as a tech hub to benefit from its strategic location with close links to the air and seaports of Amsterdam, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Liège (Belgium), and Cologne (Germany).

“We are well positioned to capitalise on the vast opportunities ahead, combining the latest in innovative automation technologies and digital tools to create new, sustainable solutions and improve supply chain resilience for our customers as their businesses evolve with the demands of the market,” said Klingler-Werner.

Alongside her UPS role, Susanne is a member of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt board, where she advocates for UPS and the Frankfurt Airport since 2020.

Since joining UPS from Menlo Worldwide Forwarding in 2005, Susanne, a German national, has held roles of increasing responsibility in Global Freight Forwarding (GFF) operations, air freight product management and pricing, and revenue management driving sustained growth across the region.
