Millet procurement begins in Mysuru district – Mysuru Today

Mysuru, May 13:- The central government has announced to procure 2 lakh metric tonnes of millet at the minimum support price (MSP) scheme 2021-22.

Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Dr Bagadi Gautham in a statement said, “Millet procurement registration process has already begun on Tuesday (May 10). The purchase rate is fixed at Rs 3,377 per quintal. Nine centres have been opened for millet procurement for 2021-22. Except the farmers who have already sold under MSP, the rest can sell their crops through any of the nine centres.” (AM/KS)
