Michigan man arrested for drug distribution

IRONWOOD, MI — Authorities say a White Pine man is being held at the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department after they say he was found with meth, heroin and other controlled substances.

Jesse Monville, 45, was arrested on Wednesday morning after a warrant was issued for him Tuesday for allegedly distributing meth and cocaine.

According to the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team, an investigation began in August, where GIANT team members bought meth and cocaine from Monville.

Monville was arrested during a traffic stop in Wakefield Wednesday, and officers say they found a larger amount of meth, heroin and other controlled substances in his vehicle.

He is now being held on a $300,000 cash bond.
