Fuel distribution continues with no interruption

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) says the distribution of Petrol and Diesel to filling stations across the country continues without any interruption.

According to the News 1st correspondents, there is a reduction in the number of vehicles that are seen in queues at filling stations.

The All Ceylon Private Bus Owners Association said the operation of buses could be limited to around 30 percent during the weekend, given the fuel crisis.

Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera said steps were taken to resolve the issues faced by farmers owing to the fuel crisis.
