There will be a mega food distribution on Saturday, August 15, at the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds. This is a countywide distribution hosted by the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB).
Preregistration can be completed at www.safoodbank.org. The distribution will begin at 10 a.m. For safety purposes, the gate will not be open to the property until 6:30 a.m. SAFB volunteers ask people not to start lining up until the gate is open. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be restrooms available on the grounds.
Volunteers are needed and are asked to be at the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds by 8:30 a.m. the day of the distribution. If you would like to volunteer, please text Stephanie Cantu at 210-632-8018.
