Job Description: The ERP/Procurement Specialist will be primarily responsible for managing the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (currently we use SAP-based Orchestrated Beer)to ensure it is up-to-date and timely at all times; the purchase of goods that meet the quantity and quality expectations of our organization; evaluating and aiding in the negotiation of contracts with vendors; tracking inventory to ensure timely delivery of all necessary feedstocks and raw materials needed for production; and comparing available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing. This role is highly collaborative and cross-function in nature, operating at the intersection of our brewery, cellar, packaging, distilling, warehouse and shipping teams. Flexibility, timeliness and the ability to work well with others in a collaborative fashion will be incumbent on the success of this position.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Creation and Publication of Production orders in company ERP system
  • Make appropriate adjustments to production orders as dictated by changes in production schedule
  • Management of items and bill of materials in company ERP system
  • Creation, facilitation and fulfilment of purchase orders of all needed raw materials used in MBC’s primary operations, including but not limited to: malt, hops, chemicals, flavorings and extracts, small parts and minor equipment, packaging materials, pallets, and miscellanies supplies needed for continuous operation of equipment, process gasses (CO2, Nitrogen, etc)
  • Coordinate shipping for inbound materials
  • Complete monthly inventory counts and minimizing potential shrinkage
  • Maintenance and management of inventory across multiple warehouses for tracking purposes and to facilitate sales process
  • Maintain online order guides and price lists for our customers
  • Be a trusted resource and ERP expert for training of teammates as needed
  • Maintenance and oversight of production processes to ensure ERP matches with physical production processes
  • Work closely with sales and outbound logistics team to ensure sales orders are tracked and progressed based on production capabilities
  • Attend professional workshops, reviews publication, establishes network and participates in community events that further career knowledge
  • Be an exemplary representative of the company at all times

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and Procurement
  • Beverage Alcohol or CPG Experience preferred
  • Experience as a production brewery a major plus
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Must be highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication and people skills
