Maersk Helps Keep Middle East Supply Chains Moving

Christopher Cook, Area Managing Director at Mearsk – UAE talks about the role of Maersk in keeping the supply chains for essential items moving during this time of crisis using Maersk’s integrated container logistics solutions.

Mr Cook also describes how Maersk is providing robust online services to customers allowing them to get quotes, book shipments and track the same from their mobiles and laptops as they work from home.

Speaking from Jebel Ali Port as a Maersk containership arrives carrying 1000 import containers from Oman, Mr Cook emphasizes on how Maersk is keeping its operations running smoothly even as the world deals with the corona virus challenge.

Mr Cook concludes by thanking all frontline workers and expressing his gratitude to the UAE leadership for all their wise decisions taken in this time of crisis.
