Lufthansa Cargo powers freighters with sustainable aviation fuel | Cargo Facts

Lufthansa Cargo has operated its first freighter flight entirely powered by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).  According to the carrier, the Nov. 29 flight was carried out in collaboration with freight forwarder DB Schenker, and transported goods including health care products by Siemens Healthineers from Frankfurt (FRA) to Shanghai (PVG). Unit 41678, one of Lufthansa Cargo’s nine 777Fs, was utilized for the flight.  Beginning with the carrier’s summer schedule, the carrier-forwarder pair will operate regular […]
