Lorain factory catches fire early Saturday

LORAIN, Ohio — Fire crews in Lorain battled a large fire early this morning at the old Lorain Products Factory. 

Lorain Professional Firefighters posted on Facebook to avoid the area of Oberlin Avenue and W14th Street as they worked to put out the blaze.

Elyria Fire Department also posted on Facebook that they were there to assist Lorain.

The post states it was a large commercial fire – so far, no injuries have been reported.
