A large fire has broken out at a factory in Longton. Emergency services are at the scene of the incident in Sutherland Road.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had received a large number of calls reporting the fire. Sutherland Road has been closed by police officers.
Eye witnesses have reported seeing huge plumes of black smoke rising above the city. The fire appears to be at the Tegiwa motor parts factory.
