JUPITER, Fla. (WFLA) — Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to update Floridians on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine at state Publix stores.
The governor is holding a press conference at a Publix in Jupiter around 8:30 a.m. A livestream of the event will be available on WFLA.com and the WFLA Facebook page.
DeSantis previously announced the state had partnered with the supermarket chain in an effort to get more seniors vaccinated.
More than 100 Publix stores have begun offering doses to seniors 65 and older in Bay, Citrus, Collier, Escambia, Flagler, Hernando, Marion, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, St. Johns, Volusia and Walton counties.
