Lighting company plans to close longtime Lehigh Valley distribution center

“Ledvance continuously evaluates its operations in order to maximize its business processes, better serve its customers and ensure future success for its employees and stakeholders,” the company said in a statement to The Morning Call on Monday, the same communication shared with employees earlier this year. “The company recently partnered with industry experts and conducted a thorough review of its distribution operations. After careful evaluation, the company decided to consolidate its distribution network due to overall high operational costs and the underutilization of multiple distribution centers.”
