With inflation at a 40-year high, many are asking why. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize there are too many dollars (which the government literally threw at everyone) and too few goods to purchase (due to supply chain issues, tariffs and lack of workers to produce those goods; why work when the government is just going to “give” you money.
