Indiana Task Force 1 personnel are now working in hard-hit Dawson Springs.The team will be conducting wide area searches and marking structures to help with documenting all damaged structures, and ensure everyone is accounted for.The group from Indiana has spent the past two days helping with recovery efforts in Mayfield. After arriving Sunday, they immediately began work at the candle factory.Much of the remaining debris from the candle factory that was destroyed has been cleared.They completed removal of the roof, searched and cleared 100 of the structure.On Monday, EMA officials said everyone who was believed to have been in the Mayfield structure has been accounted for. Eight people died.A spokesperson for the task force from Indianapolis said the team is in good spirits and “has been blessed with nice weather, which helps with efficiency of the operations.”
