There is a huge police response in Manchester city centre this afternoon as ‘armed officers surround a factory’.
Store Street is currently cordoned off.
There are also reports of a cordon in place on nearby Ducie Street.
According to eyewitnesses, armed police are at the scene near a factory.

The police helicopter is reportedly up over the area.
The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
