Grant Thornton has partnered with GTY Technologies – a public sector software-as-a-service (SaaS) company – and Llamasoft, a supply chain technology company.
GTY was founded in 2016 to identify and invest in public-sector focused tech companies. The Las Vegas–based firm now has six subsidiaries, offering a cloud-based suite of solutions that span functions in procurement, payments, grant management, budgeting, and permitting.
The alliance will combine GTY’s technology with Grant Thornton’s implementation capabilities, and will support state and local governments with moving their operations to the cloud.
Grant Thornton is now the preferred implementer for GTY SaaS offerings eCivis and Sherpa Government Solutions. eCivis is a cloud-based grants management system provider for state, local, and tribal governments, while Sherpa provides public sector budgeting software.

Llamasoft, meanwhile, is an Ann Arbor, Michigan–based AI-powered supply chain analytics software company. Founded in 2003, the company helps more than 750 companies solve complex supply chain challenges. Llamasoft recently launched llama.ai, an AI-powered enterprise decision platform which includes a digital twin model, algorithm library, and an app studio.
The alliance will see Grant Thornton combine its supply chain consulting experience with Llamasoft’s optimization technology and AI capabilities.

Last year, Grant Thornton partnered with Gens & Associates on life sciences compliance, and with Hitachi Solutions on business foresight technology.
