GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — As the end of the school year nears, June 15 will be the last day for grab and go meal distribution at Gloucester Township’s three middle schools, the public school district announced on Monday.
“On behalf of the entire Food Service staff, it has been a pleasure to feed the wonderful children of this district during this unprecedented pandemic and resulting school closure,” Food Service Supervisor Jane Cora said in a letter to parents.
Anyone who would like to continue receiving free meals through the summer can visit summerfoodrocks.org/sitefinder or call 1-866-3-HUNGRY for a location nearby that distributes these meals.
An application to receive free or reduced priced meals will be posted on the school district’s website in July and emailed to families in the district in August. Completed applications can be returned to the address in the letterhead by Sept. 1.
