Govt opens 16 new paddy procurement centers

On Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s instructions, 16 new centers will be opened in Chhattisgarh to expand facilities for farmers and to ensure smooth paddy procurement.

The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has been given permission to start paddy procurement centers in Chandipur and Udanpur in North Bastar, Kumhi (Kharra) in Bemetara, Jangalpur and Madarali in Durg, Ranidongri in Kanker, Barvi and Bagarra in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Khunteri (Mat) and Ruda in Balod, Jortrai (M) in Rajnandgaon, Salemata in Bastar, Chandagaon in Narayanpur district, Ratanpur in Koriya district, Kopra in Kondagaon district and Tarekela in Mahasamund district.
