Government finalizing oil pipeline procurement
Government is finalizing procurement for equipment such as pipes, contractors, compensation for project affected persons (PAPs), logistics and other engineering equipment for the 5 billion dollar East African crude oil pipeline construction. While speaking at the Oil and gas conference, on SME opportunities, John Bosco Habumugisha the general manager national pipeline company, noted, groundbreaking for the Thermal insulation plant in Tanzania should be done by December.
