Former DOD, DLA Exec Jeffrey Curtis Named Simba Chain Defense & Supply Chain VP

Jeffrey Curtis, who previously worked for the Department of Defense and the Defense Logistics Agency, has been named vice president of defense and supply chain at Plymouth, Indiana-based blockchain technology provider Simba Chain.

He brings 33 years of DOD supply chain and logistics experience to his new position and will help the company navigate the federal sector as well as offer advice on its government business strategy, Simba Chain said Monday.

Curtis oversaw DLA’s policies and programs covering spare parts, energy, food, clothing and medicine for the U.S. military and led the implementation of single inventory system for 90 percent of agency stock.

He has supported Simba Chain as an independent consultant after his retirement from federal government service.
