Food Bank of the Golden Crescent distributed over 670,000 pounds of food last month
VICTORIA, Texas – The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent’s distribution numbers are a bit down this month from October’s numbers.
According to Food Bank of the Golden Crescent President and CEO Robin Cadle, the food bank distributed over 675,000 pounds in their 11-county area for the month of November. This number is just over 564,000 meals. Compared to October, that is about 75,000 pounds of food less.
Cadle said the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent is still distributing over 200,000 pounds more than they did at this time last year, though.
