The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas and Mountain Home Public Schools (MHPS) will be distributing food boxes to families of students who have qualified for free or reduced meals. The distribution is set for Friday morning from 10 to 12 at the district’s Food Service Office next to Pinkston Middle School, located at 1439 South College Street.
According to the district’s Food Service Supervisor Pam Burns, there are plans for an additional food distribution before winter break in December.
Parents are required to complete a form by Monday afternoon to register for a food box.
MHPS will have enough food available for up to 100 families who have preregistered for pick-up.
Contact the Food Service Office for more information at 870-425-1225.
