Video shows at least 4 tractor-trailers burning
A fire at an Upstate warehouse early Tuesday burned several tractor-trailers overnight.Flames were reported at the Rite Aid Distribution Center on Flatwood Industrial Drive in Spartanburg about 4 a.m., according to dispatchers. Cowpens, Hillcrest, Drayton, Commerce, Mountain View, Mayo, Boiling Springs, Cherokee Springs and Whitney fire departments all responded, dispatchers said.Crews with Cherokee Springs Fire Department are heading up investigation in to what started the fire, dispatchers said. There did not appear to be any damage to the distribution center building, but WYFF News 4’s Joe Ripley said he saw wreckers towing off burned tractor-trailers next to the center’s main building.Video sent to WYFF News 4 by Interstate Wrecker Service showed intense flames coming from at least four tractor-trailers.No injuries were reported.
