At least five workers have received burn injury in an explosion at a mosquito coil factory in Bhairab of Kishoreganj.
The incident took place around 5.00pm on Friday at the coil factory of Dulal Mia at Panchabari village of Bhairab town.
The injured have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. They are Md Shahin Mia, Mohammad Masum Uddin, Mohammad Din Islam, Morshed Sheikh and Abdur Rahman.
Three units of Bhairab Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the fire with an effort of three hours.
