Fisher Funds’ head of distribution has resigned.

Chief executive Bruce McLachlan said Michael Raynes had resigned in mid-December.

“He has been living in Hamilton and commuting up each week to Auckland for some time now, and he has a brand new member of his family born last year, so he understandably wishes to commit himself to making sure the family arrangements work. His relocating fulltime back to Hamilton was not a surprise to anyone and he is moving on with our best wishes.”

Raynes has been with Fisher Funds for more than a decade and started as a direct retail sales manager before moving into marketing and then distribution.
