Firefighters respond fire at Amazon distribution center’s 3rd-floor

Clay, N.Y. — Firefighters with the Moyers Corners and Liverpool fire departments have responded to a fire at the Amazon warehouse project in Clay, according to Onondaga County 911 dispatch reports.

The fire was reported at 8:40 p.m. and the fire was reported to be on the third floor of the building.

Construction began in early March at the former site of the Liverpool Public Golf and Country Club at the northwest corner of Morgan Road the Liverpool Bypass.

The $350 million distribution center is scheduled to open in the fall of 2021.
