Fire hits chocolate factory in Eddystone; no injuries reported | News

EDDYSTONE — A chocolate factory in the borough was damaged by a fire Saturday night, officials said.

Fire crews were called to Barry Callebault in the 900 block of the Industrial Highway about 8 p.m.

Responding crews saw heavy fire showing from the roof of the structure and quickly sounded a second alarm.

No injuries were reported.

The company makes cocoa and liquors.

Cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
