Bhawanipatna: Vehicular movement was disrupted on Bhawanipatna-Narla road as scores of farmers staged road blockade protesting irregularities in paddy procurement at Ghantamal Mandi.
Commuters faced a harrowing time as the movement of vehicles was paralysed by the protest.
The farmers have stated to intensify the agitation if their concerns are not addressed immediately, sources said.
