Factory Worker Booked For Raping Co-worker On Marriage Pretext | Ludhiana News

Ludhiana: The police booked a man for raping his 28-year-old co-worker for four years on the pretext of marriage.
The woman said in her police complaint, “The accused and I worked at a factory. In 2018, he took me to an eating joint near Pawa village of Sahnewal and established physical relations with me on the pretext of marriage. This continued till April 2020. And when I asked him to marry me, he refused.”
Investigating officer ASI Sadhu Singh said an FIR under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC has been lodged against the accused after an inquiry. He is yet to be arrested.
