Factory fire in Fairfield Sydney – man feared dead in blaze

A 61-year-old Cabramatta man is feared to have been caught in an inferno that consumed a factory in south-west Sydney yesterday afternoon.

The furniture factory, and a number of cars parked adjacent to it, went up in the immense blaze in Fairfield.

Firefighters and police now fear the man was trapped inside the building, but this afternoon, it was too unsafe to enter.

Family of the missing factory worker say he never came home.

Drones did not provide any answers either.

Firefighters now plan to demolish the building so they can get inside.
