End to $15 Billion IT Procurement Means End to Metrica’s Appeal

Metrica Team Venture’s appeal challenging the General Services Administration’s IT contract awards under a $15 billion procurement is moot because of the agency’s recent cancellation decision, the company and government told the Federal Circuit.

The court should dismiss the appeal asserting that the GSA erred in eliminating Metrica’s bid, the parties told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Monday.

GSA awarded 81 contracts to small businesses in February 2018 under the Alliant 2 Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract, which would have allowed federal agencies to purchase customized IT services.

The awards faced numerous protests.
