Dutch judge settles bell pepper dispute

In the Netherlands, the court in the Hague has rendered a verdict in a dispute between a Dutch wholesaler and a Polish bell pepper buyer. The parties disagree about the payment of three invoices from 2015 and whether delivery agreements were met. For example, Class 2 was allegedly delivered, while this was not the deal.

This case was already heard in Poland in 2018, where neither party was found to be entirely in the wrong. The Dutch judge agreed with the earlier ruling. After costs, the Dutch wholesaler still owes the buyer €4,700.

You can view the entire hearing here (in Dutch).
