Qualification Summary
Applicants must meet the requirements of either A or B:A. Qualifications based on meeting all of the following criteria: FAC-C Level III Certification and an Unlimited Warrant A minimum of 4 years of experience in contracting or related positions of which at least 1 year is specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the lower level of the NY-04 pay band which is at,or equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federals service, which includes: executing complex, federal procurement activities and initiatives; supervising/managing a staff;developing strategic and operating plans; and, functioning as a business partner with agency/department leaders to ensure that required supplies and services are obtained in the most effective manner for mission accomplishment. B. Qualifications based on meeting the following: Having continuously occupied, without a break in service, a position in the 1102 series on or prior to January 1, 2000, that is equivalent to the GS-15 level (mid-range of the NY-04 pay band). This experience in contracting or related positions includes: executing complex, federal procurement activities and initiatives; supervising/managing a staff; developing strategic and operating plans; and, functioning as a business partner with agency/department leaders to ensure that required supplies and services are obtained in the most effective manner for mission accomplishment. FAC-C Level III certification and an Unlimited Warrant level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.Such experience must be clearly documented in the applicant’s resume.
