Di Farina Pasta Factory, a popular Italian eatery in Pompano Beach specializing in homemade pastas and sauces, is getting ready to open a gourmet meat shop next door.
Di Farina Meat Shop will be located at 1905 E. Atlantic Blvd., selling high-end prime meats, cheeses, olives and oils. There will be a selection of grass-fed Argentine beef, lamb, pork, wagyu beef, poultry and hams.
Emanuel Fernandez, the owner of Di Farina Pasta Factory (1915 E. Atlantic Blvd.), has run his own Miami-based meat distribution operation since 2008, handling grass-fed, imported and prime meats.
“We have a passion for all things meat and high quality, so we wanted to expand these options to the people of our community,” said Fernandez.
Di Farina Meat Shop will offer fresh and frozen meats. All fresh meat will be cleaned, packed and inspected in another facility prior to arriving on site. The meat shop will also sell items to build a barbecue, such as charcoal, wood and barbecue salt for the meat.
Di Farina Meat Shop will be accessible through the restaurant. The main concept is for patrons to dine at Di Farina Pasta Factory, and then continue to the meat shop to purchase items to take home.
