Elkhart-based Dexter Axle Co. has acquired The Expediter LLC, a trailer parts supply story in Florida. Dexter is a manufacturer of utility trailer axles, doors, and other components. It serves the recreational vehicle, marine and agricultural markets.
The Expediter is a wholesaler of trailer parts, braking systems and suspension systems.
“Bringing The Expediter into the Dexter Distribution Group provides a strategic location in South Florida that will help to better serve our combined customers while also continuing to build on the success and growth of the business,” said Adam Dexter, president and chief executive officer of Dexter.
Dexter is a subsidiary of Michigan-based DexKo Global Inc.
